As a natural material, leather—particularly nubuck leather—can be prone to markings. Whether full aniline or semi-aniline, the leather will naturally take on a unique appearance over time.
Do not wash or dry clean leather finishes. For cleaning, use the Ethnicraft Leather Care Kit, following the instructions for Natural Cleaner and Leather Care & Protect. Avoid using these products on sanded or brushed leathers such as nubuck or suede. Always test on a discreet area before full application.
Do not machine wash unless explicitly stated on the attached label. Pilling may occur as excess fibres loosen over time—this is a natural characteristic of quality textiles. A fabric shaver can gently remove pilling without damaging the weave.
To keep fabrics fresh, dust with a clean cloth or soft brush. Avoid rubbing, and if vacuuming, use low suction with a soft upholstery attachment.
For spills, blot gently with a clean, dry cloth—do not rub. If stains occur, blot with a slightly damp white cloth, working from the outer edge inward. Any spills or stains should be treated immediately. We recommend using Ethnicraft Textile Cleaner followed by the Ethnicraft Fabric Protector. Always follow the instructions provided on the bottle.
Quartzite and marble are formed by nature, their beauty refined by time. A penetrating sealer is applied to the tabletop—this soaks into the stone, offering protection from within while preserving the organic elegance of the honed finish.However, due to the porous nature of stone, exposure to acidic substances such as citrus, wine, or vinegar should be avoided. Always use coasters to prevent condensation from marking the surface. Spills should be removed immediately to prevent absorption. For dried marks, a high-quality cleaner for stone is recommended.Marble is more porous and softer than quartzite, making it more susceptible to stains, etching (from acids like lemon juice or vinegar), and scratching. Quartzite is much harder and denser than marble, often mistaken for granite in terms of durability. While naturally resistant to stains, periodic sealing is still recommended.Avoid using topical sealers (film-forming coatings like acrylics or waxes), as they can create an artificial plastic-like appearance, wear unevenly, and trap moisture.
Regular cleaning
Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner (never anything acidic or abrasive). Avoid vinegar, lemon-based cleaners, or bleach.
Resealing schedule
Water droplet test
To check if resealing is needed, place a few drops of water on the surface. If they bead up, the sealer is still effective. If the stone darkens, it's time to reseal.

Custom-made to fit Morpho by Tomorrowland collections, the covers are UV protective and provide excellent protection against water, wind, and frost. Ensure furniture is clean and dry before applying the cover. Remove cushions and store them indoors for long periods of non-use. Regularly remove the cover to allow the furniture to breathe. Covers are machine washable up to 30°C (86°F). Always air dry and ensure the cover is fully dry before storing.

Clean fabrics with clear water and natural soap. Ethnicraft also offers an Indoor-Outdoor Textile Cleaner & Protector, specially formulated to help preserve the appearance and longevity of the upholstery, cord, and textiles. Avoid using pressure washers on fabric surfaces.
Stains and oil marks
The natural surface oil in teak can cause stains on cushions, which is a normal, recurring process. To clean stains, use a damp white cloth with natural soap and clear water to minimize discolouration. Removable covers can be machine-washed at 30°C (86°F). Always follow the care instructions on the label.
Cord care
For woven cord, lightly brush or gently vacuum regularly to remove dust. For spot cleaning, dampen the area with a mild soap solution and blot gently with a soft cloth—work from the outside of the stain inwards. For oil-based stains, use an acetone solution before rinsing with clear water. Ensure excess moisture is removed, then allow the cord to air dry in the shade.
Cushion care
Cushions feature quick-dry foam, designed to dry quickly after exposure to moisture or humidity. This foam can penetrate even a water-repellent outer shell over time. All sit cushions include an anti-slip fabric on the bottom to keep them in place.
Our varnished black teak collection is brushed and coated with a colour treatment specifically developed to endure outdoor conditions, including high and low temperatures, UV exposure, and humidity.
Just like with natural teak, wipe up spills immediately with a damp cloth and natural soap. Avoid harsh soaps with acids, chemicals, or detergents. For regular cleaning, use a dry cloth or soft brush to remove dust and leaves—never rub. For more thorough cleaning, natural soap and warm water will suffice. For best results, use Ethnicraft Teak Cleaner, following the product's instructions. Always use a soft cloth when cleaning, instead of the green pads provided.
While no additional treatment is necessary, you may opt for a specialised teak cleaner, such as Ethnicraft Outdoor Teak Cleaner, to remove dirt build-up. Clean regularly using natural soap and warm water. Always wipe along the wood grain. For stubborn stains or minor scratches, gently use extra-fine sandpaper, sanding in the direction of the grain.
